Free ABA Therapy screenings for Parents & Schools
-For Parents
Parental Guidance Board Certified Behavior Analysts at Kids Therapy Solutions provide free screenings. The screening aims to see if a child's language, learning, or problem behavior needs to be evaluated further. During the screening, the analyst will examine the child's behaviors in its environment, as well as their language, learning, and socialization skills. At any point in a child's development, problem behaviors and skill impairments might emerge. A child's success depends on early discovery. We strongly encourage you to take advantage of this fantastic opportunity if you have any concerns about your child's behavior or developmental milestones.
-For Schools
Kids Therapy Solutions provides free on-site assessments at schools! We will send a Board Certified Behavior Analyst to your program to screen children experiencing language and learning impairments or exhibiting inappropriate behavior. We will work with you to schedule the screenings on a day and time that is convenient for you. Before arriving, we will send you information for the parents and consent forms to send home. Assessment process
A functional behavior assessment aims to identify sustaining variables, social and environmental factors, and the occurrence or nonoccurrence of specific behaviors. FBAs are conducted by highly competent and trained professionals based on data collection. Data collection is an essential part of ABA programs. Our data is collected in real-time because we employ a digital platform that allows all parties involved in the case to communicate in real-time, including caregivers, therapists, and analysts. Kids Therapy Solutions will regularly provide you with data in an understandable format and discuss the data and your child's progress with you in plain language. This information will be used to make program changes and adjustments so your child can progress as quickly as possible. Most children and adolescents on the autism spectrum have difficulty comprehending and using social skills. They do not naturally learn to respond to social cues naturally, making social situations unrecognizable and awkward.
Social Skills Groups
The majority of children and teenagers with autism struggle to comprehend while using social skills. Social skills are essential, from greetings and eye contact to interpreting internal events and thoughts. Basic social conventions such as politeness, as well as general social/behavioral expectations in all of the client's situations, are also taught through social skills. A person with autism's capacity to form and keep friendships, engage with peers, and even connect with society is influenced by his or her social skills.
Parent Training
To assist your child realize his or her full potential, takes a lot of work by a lot of people (including parents and caregivers). When given effective training and assistance, most children will improve, but each child will progress and advance at his or her own pace. There are a slew of reasons that could impact progress. How rapidly your child progresses is influenced by factors such as his or her health, behavioral issues, program quality, and how difficult it is for them to transfer their abilities to important settings (such as your home or the community). Parent and caregiver training is an important component of our services, as you are your child’s first teacher.
